Maho Tsukai Precure Ep 30 : The Path I Choose...

Cure Up! Rapapa! This is my review of Maho Tsukai Precure Episode 30 Review and the girls were asked by Jun and Company to help them in their school project...

After showing the Rainbow Chariot to the headmaster and it create a magic circle for no reason whatsoever, Jun and Company asked the three girls and Morfurn to help them in their school project.

We do learn that the three stooges had their own dreams after graduating from the Magic Academy with Jun waiting to be a fashion designer, Emily as a hairstylist and Kei as a reporter of sort (I think) This of course make Mirai, Riko and Kotoha asking themselves the same question.

Mirai has no idea what she want to be and just want to live the moment whereas Riko was wondering her future. Even after a pep talk from Rizu about how Riko looked up to her family of Magic users and wanted to be one herself, Rizu advised her to think carefully before she make that decision and not act on her family obligation which sounds similar to Minami/Cure Mermaid plot of following the family business and finally choosing her own path.

The other main plot point of this episode is the coming of the two new generals namely Shakinsu and Benigyo after they were awakened from their slumber. Shakinsu is voiced by Mr Smooth Psychopath, Hayami Shou (Bleach Fans will know him as Aizan) and Benigyo is voiced by Goddess Belldandy, Inoue Kikuko. Although they have not appeared fully in Physical Form, I hope they will be more competent than Batty and Company after last week's drag queen episode.

Mr Genie tried to take down the girls again with the two new generals watching from the sideline. But after Cure Miracle's feelings reacted to the Rainbow Chariot which was just placed on the ground (The three stooges never asked why is it there in the first place is anyone guess?) and does absolutely nothing, I have a feeling that it probably require Cure Magical and Cure Felice's feelings to reveal it's true power in future episodes.

After the battle, the girls were finally leaving the Magic Academy and heading back to Earth with Rizu told Riko to take care of herself although Riko is having second thoughts of her future...

Overall, this episode is not too bad after last week's "scarred for life" episode since we are getting some kind of plot with the Rainbow Chariot and the two new generals. Even though Riko and Kotoha who starting to have doubts about her powers and why it was given to her. (Which even Mr Genie has started to take interests of her abilities during the battle) It will probably be revealed later as we have about another twenty more episodes to go. (Give and Take) So take it easy, girls!

Next week, Mr Genie set a trap as the girls were returning to Earth. The girls are now trapped in some kind of Limbo and only a new magic item is the only chance from escaping. Until then, see you in the next post!
